Truth is the greatest offender

The world's hostility toward Osho is natural—truth offends because it shatters false identities. Like a prince made to live as a beggar, people have forgotten their real nature. Sannyasins are a race apart, not of the marketplace. Money is loaded because greed, not exchange, corrupts it.

Your mind is the judas

Mind is either/or; heart is both/and. The contradiction between dissolving into existence and being yourself dissolves when seen from the heart—personality is false, individuality is real. Mind speaks and knows nothing; heart knows everything and cannot speak.

Just counting other people's cows

Religious leaders are asleep, not cheating consciously—they mistake borrowed knowledge for knowing. Like counting other people's cows, scholars know scriptures but not truth. The magician's sheep believe they are lions; all religions hypnotize people into false identities.

Dancingly, disappear

The desire to dissolve in deep relaxation is not suicide but nirvana—ego death, not life rejection. Life has a horizontal dimension (endless desire) and a vertical (present-moment dissolution). Dancingly disappear; the dewdrop becomes the ocean. Hearing inner bells is conditioning, not meditation.

You have to go nowhere

The known is dead; the unknown is living. Cling to a corpse and you need courage—not to drop it. Society wants cowards, not lions. True courage is innate—you need go nowhere, you already contain everything in seed. Never be inspired by anyone; imitation makes carbon copies, not originals.

A lot -- and nothing

Osho recounts his arrest and deportation from Crete—man is not evolving, stuck in the same brutality that killed Socrates. The bureaucracy, not the people, is the enemy. Three thousand villagers came to the airport to support him. Socrates was killed by bureaucrats, not by the people of Athens.

Empty from birth to death

Democracy is neither by, of, nor for the people—bureaucracy exploits and manipulates. Religions destroy intelligence through belief; states exploit through obedience. Joyous people are dangerous to vested interests. Empty from birth to death, people never flower because bureaucracies prevent it.

The head is compulsory, but not the cap

Obedience needs no intelligence—any idiot can obey. Disobedience means taking responsibility, deciding with your own intelligence. Not reacting with anger but responding with awareness. The head is compulsory, but not the cap. Armies train only obedience, destroying individuality and creating robots.

I want to provoke your jealousy

Osho's abundance—the Rolls Royces, the wealth—was a device to provoke jealousy and expose repressed greed. Saints who torture themselves earn respect but not transformation. Existence is abundant, not ascetic. Living richly, materially and spiritually, is the only authentic spirituality. The ego gains, you lose.

The ostrich argument

Good and evil are relative, not absolute. The British government bans Osho as dangerous but aids America's bombing of Libya as good. Imperialist governments fear Osho because he exposes their rotten foundations. All European governments conspire because they know their youth would side with him.

It is pure light... pure delight

A natural death requires a natural life—lived without inhibition or repression, like animals and trees. Only an awakened person dies naturally. Religions teaching transcendence of nature have created perversions—homosexuality, greed, hypocrisy. Nature is abundant; asceticism is anti-existence.

Obedience needs no art

The new man may take a century, but the vision transforms you now. Nirvana means 'blowing out the candle'—Buddha chose this negative word so the ego cannot claim it. It remains unpolluted because you cannot possess dissolution. Its very sound gives serenity; no positive word can be corrupted so easily.

Christianity is an empty box

Christianity is an empty box—modernist theologians drop God, Jesus, miracles, and virgin birth to save the religion, leaving nothing. Jesus never died on the cross; he lived to 112 in Kashmir. His grave and Moses's grave in Pahalgam prove this. Christianity was built on a conspiracy, not resurrection.

Let it soak within your heart

True let-go is not defeatist resignation but absence of fighting—the ego cannot mix with it. Fighting feeds the ego; let-go dissolves it. Majnu's story: he relaxed so utterly waiting for Laila that he merged with a tree. Let-go means trusting existence, not controlling consequences. It is choiceless discovery.

I have kept my wondering eyes alive

Children don't belong to parents—they belong to existence. Parents should help children be original, not imitations. The duty of parents is to help children not fall into imitation. Don't prepare them for this world; they will face a different one. Give them freedom, not molding—it is the greatest gift.

Emptiness has its own fullness

Buddha alone said there is no self—only emptiness. Self and ego are the same; distinguishing them is sophistry. 'Love yourself' is wrong because there is no self to love. Emptiness has its own fullness. Chuang Tzu's butterfly dream: who is the dreamer, who is the dreamed? Only awareness is real.

The world is where the work is

Sannyasins in the marketplace are the real test—renunciation is cowardice; transformation requires being in the world. Osho's people should come to him for joy, then carry it back. Himalayan silence is cheap; the real test is the marketplace. Come for a holiday of the spirit, then return refreshed.

Terrorism is in your unconscious

Terrorism symbolizes the devaluation of human life—when man is just matter, killing becomes play. Nuclear weapons made nations irrelevant but freed individuals to use old weapons. Man accumulates violence every ten to twelve years and needs war for release. Since world war is now impossible, terrorism grows.

Step aside, let the mind pass

You are not the mind—neither its bright nor dark side. Choosing creates anxiety; being choiceless brings acceptance. Step aside, let the mind pass. The goose is out—it was never in the bottle of mind. Identification gives mind its power; witnessing starves it. With mind's disappearance, the self vanishes.

It is all happening silently

Calmness, not ecstasy, is the right way to be with the master—excitement exhausts and turns into resentment. The master is a catalytic agent, giving nothing, taking nothing. The master's presence makes a difference without doing anything. The master should be respectable, not merely respected.

The most blissful moment -- when you cannot find yourself

Intellectual listening is a kind of deafness—words pass through prejudice and emerge changed. Right listening lets words sink to the heart without mind's interference; communion, not communication. Glasses are psychological armor—children wear them to avoid direct eye contact and vulnerability.

Freedom doesn't choose, it discovers

'Just be yourself' means be unprogrammed, unconditioned awareness. You cannot watch your watchfulness—that is you. Freedom is choiceless, not a choice; let-go is discovered, not chosen. Buddha's disciple wanted to surrender but was told he cannot—the ego cannot surrender, only dissolve.

Trees grow without being taught

Trees grow without being taught—programming children creates slavery. Parents should support, nourish, and share life, not give directions or ideals. Let children commit mistakes and learn. Don't ask 'how'—that seeks a technique, and love is not a technique. Freedom, not obedience, is the greatest gift.

Whenever the ego gains, you are the loser

Calling sannyasins 'friends' was a device to expose egoists who claimed equal status. True disciples felt hurt; false ones rejoiced. Sariputta refused enlightenment to sit at Buddha's feet. The ego gains, you lose. After the commune's destruction, resentful people revealed they were around for greed, not love.

We cannot be otherwise

Eight years or eight hundred—time is irrelevant; depth of love reveals the obvious. Devaraj, Osho's physician, understood through love, not science. Medical science studies corpses, not living bodies—especially not enlightened bodies. The mind is a biocomputer; its source is the silence it dissolves into.

The circle can be broken

Politicians and priests come from among us, but the vicious circle must be broken at the top. The priest knows there is no God—his profession depends on the lie. Manu's caste system divided society to prevent rebellion. Condemn the powerful, not the victims—they are conditioned, not responsible.

So which way are you moving

Osho's offer of friendship served different people differently: egoists used it to claim equal status; genuine seekers like Premda felt deeper reverence and became true disciples. Therapists became ambitious for mastery; nobody who desires mastery can attain it. It happens as a by-product of love and egolessness.

Going just with his flute and a bottle of wine

Distances between master and disciple are dream phenomena—everyone can be awakened. The sutra hierarchy from bad men to buddhas shows degrees of sleep, not real distance. Relax and things happen on their own. The journey is simple and natural; don't make it arduous through thinking.

Come a little closer

Gurdjieff and Krishnamurti died disenchanted because they expected results—Osho never expects, so cannot be disappointed. He shares unconditionally; what disciples do is their problem. Ouspensky betrayed Gurdjieff, stealing his system. A master's joy is in sharing, not in achieving results through disciples.

New bottles for the old wine

Pythagoras linked East and West, Atlantis and our civilization. He studied in Alexandria's great library, later destroyed by Mohammedans. His three P's: preparation, purification, perfection. Sophistry claimed there is no truth, only better arguments. Socrates destroyed sophistry by insisting truth exists.

The courage to be ignorant

Every child is born seeking truth—'I am, but I don't know who I am.' Things exist without knowing; animals know but can't inquire; humans can inquire but mostly don't. Raman Maharshi's cow attained enlightenment through silent satsang. The courage to be ignorant is the beginning of wisdom.

Life consists of small things

The trap of needing approval destroys intrinsic creativity. Van Gogh painted without recognition and committed suicide only after completing his final work—in fulfillment, not despair. Work for joy, not recognition. Life consists of small things that carry no Nobel prizes. Tagore's book was ignored until the Nobel prize.

Prayer -- your psychological armor

Everyone has psychological armor—created in childhood helplessness. Napoleon was defeated by cats due to a childhood trauma. God is a teddy bear for grown-ups; prayer is psychological armor. The armor melts through trust in the master, not through effort. Coming closer requires vulnerability, not protection.

Rocks, the earth... they are all alive

Memory beyond age four lives in the unconscious—accessible through hypnosis (jati-smaran). Below conscious, unconscious, collective, and cosmic unconscious layers exist. Nature creates barriers between lives to prevent confusion. Hypnosis is condemned by religions because it proves reincarnation and destroys their one-life dogma.

Falling above the mind

Madness has two directions: below mind (breakdown, insanity) and above mind (breakthrough, enlightenment). Both are outside mind, hence the similarity. Sufis call it masta—divine madman; India calls it paramhansa. Ramakrishna, uneducated, defeated the intellectual Keshav Chandra Sen through being, not argument.

Wake up and you are it

Awakening is the nearest reality, not thousands of lives away—dreaming creates the distance. Four layers: so-called waking, sleep, dreaming, and turiya (true awakening). Dreaming is essential—it throws out mind's rubbish. When dreams are watched, they disappear. Wake up and you are it—here, now.

Each moment is insecure

Therapists claiming equality with the master misuse spiritual power. Therapy cleans surface rubbish but doesn't transform—the therapist needs therapy too. Osho used therapy to prepare Westerners for meditation. Once spiritual techniques are introduced, therapy becomes unnecessary. Misuse of spiritual power is worse than worldly power.

A world beyond time

Power-hungry people would rather blow up the world than surrender power. Creative people seek self-knowledge, not domination. We kill truth-speakers then worship them out of guilt—the powerless supported the killing out of fear. The dead are worshipped because guilt demands it; the living are feared because truth threatens vested interests.

Your mind is not yours

Your mind is not yours—it is society's implantation. The brain is the mechanism; mind is the ideology. Gurdjieff's magician hypnotized sheep into believing they were lions. Bertrand Russell tried to deprogram his Christian mind. Every society creates minds to serve its purposes, not yours. Recognizing this is the beginning of freedom.

The body does not have beliefs

Hearing about hypnosis can induce a taste of it—softness, calmness, silence. Santosh's dehypnotherapy created horror because it opened repressed unconscious material without first deconditioning the social mind. Therapists who haven't experienced the spaces they lead others into are dangerous. The body has no beliefs; only the conditioned mind does.

Times of crisis are just golden

Times of crisis are golden for the daring and dangerous for the obedient. As society disintegrates, mediocre minds go mad; rebellious individuals use the freedom to go beyond mind. The cage doors are open—slaves panic, seekers escape. Never has there been so much madness or so much search for meditation. Both happen simultaneously.

Everybody is enough

Feeling unworthy is a sign of worthiness—the ego never feels unworthy. Real lovers always feel they could love more. Unworthiness dissolves the ego; when you disappear, worth and unworthiness become irrelevant. Don't solve it as a problem—dissolve it through meditation. Everybody is enough when the ego is gone.

Logic should serve love

The seeker drank clear water from what he thought was a silver bowl; morning revealed a dirty skull. He laughed at his illusion and became enlightened. We project beauty onto reality, then blame others when illusions shatter. Logic should serve love, not dominate it. Laughter at one's own stupidity is a breakthrough.

Watchfulness is the greatest magic

Watchfulness is the greatest magic—repeating 'I will remember this is a dream' before sleep lets you watch dreams, and they disappear. Less dreaming means less mind-chatter, more presence, more intensity. Idiots cannot be hypnotized; animals can. Hypnosis needs trust, intelligence, and surrender of the suspicious, knowledge-full ego.
